Sitting Arrangement

The method of establishing disorganized persons, objects and information in a certain order regularly, is called ‘seating arrangement’. In this type of question some groups of individuals or objects are given and their place is also given. The place of a person or object has to be known relative to another person or object. Any person or person can sit down as follows

TYPE 1

Linear Arrangement
Under this, the questions that are asked in a line or line are some individuals or objects that are based on the information given on the basis of the information given. In the context of individuals, the right and left words are used.

Left→    ← Right

In the row or line, the left or the right will be what is yours and yours.
(i) When two rows or queues are face-to-face and they have turned to each other, then on the right side for the first row, the left will be left for the second row and the left of the first line will be the second row Will be right on that side

(ii) In these types of questions, two lines are face-to-face each other, which denote the vertical opposite direction.

P, S and Q, R each other’s decortals are in the opposite direction.

Example: Five girls are standing in the queue towards the north. The border is between Rita and Shashi. Lata, immediately after Rita, is by the side. Rita is second to the left. Priya is on one end of the queue. Who is on the other end of the queue?

Solution: (b)
Lata – Rita – boundary – Shashi – Priya
So, on the other end of the queue, the vine is standing.

 

TYPE 2

Circular Arrangement

Under this, the persons or objects in the questions that are asked are combined in the circular order. The observer’s face is towards the center.

Turning clockwise from left to right and turning right when counterclockwise.

Example: Six friends A, B, C, D, E, and F are sitting around a round table that are between A, B and C. Right to the right of D is seated. B is sitting between F and A, who is sitting at the right hand of F?

Resolve: (c)
The order of all friends is given below, so the E is at right of F.

TYPE 3

square rectangular order
Under this, individuals or objects are kept in orderly arrangement in order to create a square shape. Sitting around the table or playing cards is an example of this. –
There is a friend in front of it.

Except one-one in the hexagonal table i.e., the person who lives at an alternate angle is the companion of each other.

A.C and E belong to a group in the above picture, while B.D and F belong to another group.

 

Example: Four friends are sitting around a square table. Ramesh is on the right side of Suresh and Mahesh, on the left side of Lokesh What two friends are sitting face to face while Lokesh is on the left side of Suresh?

Ramesh and Lokesh (b) Ramesh and Suresh (C) Mahesh and Lokesh (d) None from
Solution: (a)
Lokesh Suresh Mahesh Ramesh

So Lokesh and Ramesh are sitting face to face with each other.
